Over the last 10 years, the citizens of Ponca City have passed over $85 million in bond issues, which allows our students to have access to the most innovative technology and state-of-the-art facilities to foster innovative instruction to promote academic success and educational excellence.
The Ponca City Public School District has long been a leader in our state in the professional development provided to our staff. Without a doubt, teachers have the greatest impact in the academic success of our students, and we are proud our staff truly strives to continually grow professionally to offer the best instruction to our students. However, we consider the academic environment to be a dynamic “work in progress”, and we constantly pursue opportunities for improvement and program enhancements. Students, as well as every staff member, are challenged, supported, and encouraged to be a leader in developing a culture in which we all have a shared vision and belief system for promoting academic success through active student engagement.
