Board of Education

The governing board for every school district in Oklahoma is the Board of Education. The Ponca City Board of Education consists of five members, each representing a specific ward in the district. Although board members must live in their specific ward, they serve the community “at large.” Each member serves a five year term. Their primary responsibility is to set policies for the district.

Regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Administration Center located at 613 East Grand Avenue. Regular meetings are recorded and posted on the PCPS YouTube Channel, for the convenience of those who are unable to attend. Special meetings are scheduled as needed. The public is invited to attend all meetings.
