PreK & Kindergarten Informational Meetings
The Ponca City Public Schools is hosting a PreK and Kindergarten Informational Meeting for parents of PreK and Kindergarten age students to be held on Thursday, April 11th. The purpose of the meeting will be to share pertinent information with parents of 4 and 5-year-old students who will be attending PCPS during the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
The two meetings will be held at the Washington PreK Center located at 1615 N. 7th Street. The Pre-K meeting will begin at 6:00 PM in the Washington Gym and run until approximately 6:30 PM, the Kindergarten meeting will begin at 6:45 PM in the Washington Gym and run until approximately 7:15 PM. Parking can be found behind the building on Little Lane and parents are encouraged to enter the gym through the gym door off the parking lot. During the meetings parents will learn more about the goals and expectations of the early childhood programs in Ponca City and how to prepare their child to experience a successful start to his/her academic career.
The Pre-K pre-registration window has been set for April 22-May 3. Kindergarten students will register during PCPS annual registration in July. If your child will be attending PCPS during the 2024-2025 school year as a Pre-K or Kindergarten student, we highly recommend you attend these meetings.

In order to attend Pre-K in the Ponca City Public School System a student must turn four on or before September 1st. In order to attend Kindergarten, a student must turn five on or before September 1st.
