Ponca City High School would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our Partners in Education (PIE) for their ongoing commitment to supporting our students, staff, and community. This fall has been filled with events that highlight the incredible partnerships that make our school stronger.
Our recent College Fair was made extra special thanks to Stuteville Chevrolet, who generously provided donuts and drinks for representatives of the different colleges. In addition, Stuteville went above and beyond by providing vehicles from their lot for our principals to use in the Homecoming Parade—a gesture that added excitement and pride to the celebration.
First National Bank once again showed their school spirit by repainting the paw prints at both the main entrance and student lot entrance, keeping our campus looking sharp and welcoming for Wildcats and visitors alike.
This year’s Parent-Teacher Conferences looked a little different, and we couldn’t have done it without our community partners. Families and staff enjoyed meals from local food trucks, including Marshall’s Kitchen, who provided delicious options on the first night. On the second night, First National Bank, TheHouseFM, and Family Vision Care teamed up with Smokey MAC Goodness to provide a wonderful dinner for all of our teachers—an incredible show of appreciation for our dedicated educators.
Adding to the fun, the administrative team challenged parents and staff to help increase attendance across both nights of conferences. Thanks to Phillips 66, the three winners of this challenge each received $100 gas cards! We are proud to share that Ponca City High School hosted a total of over 550 conferences over the two evenings—an outstanding turnout that reflects the strength of our school community.
We also want to thank representatives from Northern Oklahoma College (NOC), Pioneer Technology Center, and The University Center (The UC) for attending conferences and speaking with parents about postsecondary opportunities for our students.
Ponca City High School is truly grateful for our PIE partners and community supporters who continually invest their time, resources, and care into our students’ success. Together, we’re building a stronger future for every Wildcat!
