West Middle School students are off to an incredible start in their reading challenge, surpassing their semester goal of 100,000 minutes—and it’s only September!
So far, WMS students have logged more than 112,000 minutes of reading through Beanstack, a digital platform the WMS library introduced this school year to make reading more engaging by turning it into a fun, interactive challenge with rewards.
The original goal was to reach 100,000 minutes before Christmas Break, but students have already exceeded that goal by more than 12,000 minutes.
The success is a great early sign that the Beanstack program is helping spark excitement around reading at West Middle School.
We can’t wait to see how many more minutes they can log this year! 📚🎉
