On Tuesday, September 29, the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) hosted a series of listening sessions with PCPS students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. Each session provided an opportunity for members of the school community to share their perspectives on the strengths of Ponca City Public Schools, opportunities for growth, and ideas for strengthening and supporting the district for years to come.

The conversations offered valuable insight into what matters most to the people who make up the PCPS community. Participants shared ideas, experiences, and hopes for the future, helping identify both the successes worth building upon and the opportunities that can move the district forward.

These listening sessions are an important first step in PCPS’s strategic visioning process. The feedback gathered will help the district better understand the challenges and opportunities ahead while developing a clear vision for the future.

PCPS is excited to continue this work alongside our students, families, staff, and community as we look toward the future and work together to build an even stronger Ponca City Public Schools for generations to come.
