All Juniors on the Po-Hi campus, Virtual students, Wildcat Academy students, and SHARE students will take the three state-required tests this April.
On April 15, 2026, Juniors will take the Science content test and the US History test.

All Seniors will meet on Wednesday at City Central for their Career Day. Freshmen and Sophomores are on Distance Learning for Wednesday.
Juniors who attend the Po-Hi campus and Virtual Juniors will test at Po-Hi.
Wildcat Academy and SHARE Juniors will test at Wildcat Academy.
THESE TESTS ARE REQUIRED BY THE STATE FOR GRADUATION. It is important for Juniors to take each of the tests on the scheduled day.
Testing room rosters are posted outside each of the Junior English classrooms and the Business Office.
On test day:
Report to test rooms by 7:45 AM.
Bring your Chromebook, charging cord, calculator, and a picture ID (school ID or driver's license).
Testing will end about 11:45/12:00--students will be released for the rest of the day once all testing is completed.
Lunch will be served as usual following the testing sessions.
Buses will run at the usual times before and after school. Students who need to ride the bus home will hang out in the Commons after testing.

Remember that choices you make today give you more options for what you want to do after high school. Do your best on the test!
For questions about Junior testing, contact Ms. Easley at easleb@pcps.us. For questions about the Senior Career Day, contact Ms. Fisher at fishec@pcps.us.

Ponca City Public Schools hosted the Red Carpet Honor Band on Saturday, January 10, bringing together more than 300 band students representing 38 schools across northwest Oklahoma. Students gathered for rehearsals on Friday and performed in a concert on Saturday. This event was one of the largest ever held in the PCPS Concert Hall, utilizing all classrooms included in the most recent building expansion.

Ponca City had 32 students representing PCPS. Students are selected to perform in the Red Carpet Honor Band through a competitive audition process, making it an exceptional opportunity to participate in one of the three performing ensembles.

Many band directors and Red Carpet Board members expressed appreciation for the PCPS facilities, event organization, and the hospitality of everyone involved. Thank you to the Instrumental Music Parents Association, student and parent volunteers, PCPS Instrumental Music staff, Julie Lawrence, Concert Hall Coordinator, and district administration for their support in making this event possible.
