PreACT Testing for all Freshmen September 28-October 2, 2026
All Freshmen will be taking the PreACT 9 during September 28 through October 2. Students will be assigned to ONE of those days. This test is online, so students will need their school-issued Chromebooks.
Testing rosters that show test day and test room assignment will be posted on Thursday, September 24 outside all of the Freshman English classrooms.
Freshmen should
- report to their assigned test room by 7:45AM;
- bring their Chromebook, charger, calculator and a picture ID; and
- do their best on the test!

Josh Hallemeier is the first PCPS employee to take advantage of the Talent Relocation Program powered by the Ponca City Development Authority. Josh and his wife, Ashlynn, relocated to Ponca City from Winfield, KS. He is pictured receiving his $2,500 stipend.

Wildcat Academy and Roosevelt Elementary are currently under a precautionary lockdown while the Ponca City Police Department investigates a reported threat for Wildcat Academy.
