The last day to fill out an application for an In-District Transfer for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year is May 1. The application is electronic. Parents will fill it out using their Parent Portal. The application is found under Forms at www.pcps.us. For assistance, please contact your child's school office or the Registration Center at 111 West Grand.

Third grade students in Mrs. Kindsfather and Mrs. Guenther's classes had the opportunity to publish a book! Students began the formal writing process in February. Students have been working diligently since then to complete the writing process and submit their work. The copies of their books came today. Students were able to celebrate publishing their book by sharing what they wrote with their peers.

Orchestras in Review will be held tonight in the Ponca City Schools Concert Hall. Fifth and sixth grades, philharmonic and symphony orchestras will perform at 7 p.m. The seventh and eighth grades, philharmonic and symphony orchestras will perform at 7:30 p.m. There will be a brief intermission between concerts. The event is free to the public.

Phillips66 has donated $1 million to Ponca City Public Schools as part of a community initiative grant. The money will be used to support PCPS’s ambitious STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) facility on the high school campus. It is the single largest donation in history for PCPS. A press conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at 3:45 p.m. at the Anderson building at the high school to announce the details of the project.
