We want to ensure our students and families are aware of our morning arrival procedures, inclement weather plan, and student check-out procedures for the school day. These procedures are designed to support the safety and security of all students while helping our school day run smoothly.
Morning Arrival and Breakfast
Doors open at 7:35 a.m. each school day. Breakfast service also begins at 7:35 a.m.
Students may enter the building through either of the following locations:
Main Entrance
Student Parking Lot Doors
Upon entering the building each morning, all students are to report directly to the Commons or Retro Area and remain in these designated areas until they are released to report to class.
First hour begins promptly at 7:55 a.m. Students should allow enough time to enter the building, eat breakfast if needed, and report to class on time.
Inclement Weather
On inclement weather days, school doors will be opened by 7:15 a.m. This allows students arriving early to enter the building and avoid remaining outside in unfavorable weather conditions. Students should report to the Commons or Retro Area after entering the building.
Breakfast service will continue to begin at 7:35 a.m., and first hour will begin at 7:55 a.m.
Student Check-Out Procedures
To help maintain student safety and ensure students are released only to authorized individuals, the following procedures will be used when checking a student out during the school day.
Freshmen and Sophomores:
A parent or guardian must report to the school in person and verify their identity before the student will be released.
Juniors and Seniors:
A parent or guardian may call the school and verify their identity to check their student out during the school day. Once the parent's or guardian's identity has been verified, the student may be released according to school procedures.
We appreciate the cooperation of our students, parents, guardians, and community in following these procedures. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while minimizing disruptions to the instructional day.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
