Larin Davis

Larin Davis has been named the new Executive Director of Operations for PCPS, effective July 1, 2025. Larin will replace Jason Leavitt, who has been named the new

Operations Director for Broken Arrow Public Schools.

“We are deeply grateful to Jason for his years of dedicated service as Executive Director of Operations,” said PCPS Superintendent Adam Leaming. “He has played a critical role in keeping our district running safely and efficiently, often behind the scenes and always with a steady hand. On behalf of our entire Wildcat community, I want to thank Jason for his commitment and leadership, and we wish him all the best in this next chapter.”

With a strong foundation in both education and operations, Davis brings years of experience as a dedicated special education teacher and, most recently, as a facilities management administrator. Her return to the K-12 education space marks a homecoming to her passion for student-centered leadership and operational excellence.

“I’m excited to return to the world of public education,” Davis said. “It’s an honor to step into this role at Ponca City Public Schools, and I look forward to building strong relationships with our staff, students, and the community.”

In 2017, Larin moved to Stillwater and transitioned to the elementary level, accepting a position at Will Rogers Elementary. There, she expanded her experience by working with students who had a wide range of needs, including those with severe/profound disabilities, emotional disturbances, and specific learning disabilities.

In the summer of 2022, she embarked on a new chapter of her career by transitioning into Facilities Management Administration. As the Assistant Director of Facilities Management, she oversaw the district’s maintenance, landscaping services, custodial operations, and warehouse functions. This role broadened her perspective on how school operations support student success. She also worked closely with contractors on capital projects and major district updates, gaining valuable experience in project management, cross-department collaboration, and strategic planning.

In her new role with PCPS, Davis will oversee district operations, including safety and long-range planning. One of her first major initiatives will be preparing for the upcoming bond cycle, with a focus on transparent planning and aligning facilities improvements with the district’s strategic goals.

“From the onset, we want PCPS to attract top talent to our community. We are excited to welcome Larin Davis as our new Executive Director of Operations. She brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of leadership in managing complex systems like Stillwater Public Schools and Oklahoma State University,” said Leaming. “She has proven she can keep any organization running smoothly. From facilities to transportation to child nutrition, Larin has the vision and expertise to help us improve services and ensure our Wildcats and staff have the safe, efficient, and supportive environments they deserve. She will be another great leader in our Wildcat family.”

Davis looks forward to getting to know the Ponca City community and is eager to support the district’s mission of providing a safe, efficient, and inspiring learning environment for all students.

"I am incredibly excited to be joining Ponca City Public Schools and to become part of a district known for its commitment to excellence and community engagement. The opportunity to contribute to a team that values student growth, staff development, and operational excellence is truly energizing. I look forward to bringing my unique blend of classroom and administrative experience to support the district’s mission and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, staff, and families.”
